DINNER & LATIN JAZZ TRIO

By continuous request from our Alma friends, we are reinstating a series of one-of-a-kind three-course dinners to highlight Enrique Limardo’s talent and superb culinary imagination.

Great live music will accompany each event. For this occasion, we are joined by a Latin Jazz Trio from DC: Fran Vielma (percussionist), Tim Murphy (piano), Shawn Simon (bass).

Fran Vielma is a multi-percussionist with an extensive knowledge of Caribbean, Venezuelan, and South American rhythms and drums. In his compositions, he fuses jazz elements and concert music with the rhythms of his homeland and beyond. The trio will perform originals as well as arranged jazz standards.
