Ingredients used at Alma are purchased with extreme care. Meats are sourced from surrounding responsible farms where animals are not fed hormones or antibiotics. Our fish purveyors work closely with the chefs to carefully choose the freshest ocean treasures for our ceviches and other dishes. Our thousands of pounds of chilis are organically grown right here in Maryland. Our bar manager/alchemist works with fresh fruits, herbs and spices to make his magical cocktails.
Alma is dedicated to the preservation of our natural environment. We have been working on an extensive waste management program within the Can Company, in which we carefully separate our compost, recyclables, and landfill-related refuse. All of our disposables are biodegradable or recyclable.
