Food
Born and raised in Venezuela, Hector Romero is profoundly rooted in his culture and has spent his entire cooking career immersed in it. Based on his in-depth research on the heritage of the country’s regional cuisines, Hector has created a menu for Alma that not only includes the presence of indigenous ingredients, but also represents the confluence of adopted foods introduced by immigrants of myriad nationalities that have established themselves in Venezuela throughout the centuries. Finally, his training as a visual artist strongly inspires his plating.
Drinks
In keeping with sharing the cultural identity of Venezuela and Alma, the beverage program focuses primarily on the spirits and wines from South America and Spain, with some exceptions. We are known as the Rum bar of the city of Baltimore, with more than 60 rums available for your enjoyment.
